Social Enterprise Manager

Thanks to continuation Reaching Communities funding, THOMAS is seeking to employ a capable and charismatic individual to lead and develop our social enterprise project.

You will be responsible for further developing an existing successful lottery-funded project into a sustainable effective social enterprise.

People who have completed drug and alcohol rehabilitation supported by volunteers from the local community are gaining skills in furniture restoration at our workshops in Swinton, Salford and Blackburn.

We generate income for the charity  through sales of quality  furniture at our Blackburn town centre shop.

You will co-ordinate and monitor all activity, supporting and supervising participants and overseeing their learning and development, to ensure the project runs safely and effectively and is able to develop into a sustainable social enterprise.

Required:

1 x  P/T (22.5 Hours) Social Enterprise Manager Salary: £28,500- £30,000 Pro-Rata

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with business and development skills and experience who wants to make a difference

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level.
