Huddlestone House provides a safe, supportive and structured environment for women recovering from drug and alcohol dependency.
Our small, seven-bedroom community is designed to give women the space, stability and support they need to rebuild their lives and move towards lasting recovery and greater independence. We recognise that every woman’s recovery journey is different. Huddlestone House provides a supportive environment where residents can develop confidence, establish healthy routines, strengthen their recovery, and prepare for the next stage of their lives.

THOMAS has been like a family. It has
given me a support network which I can
grow in, and a glimpse into the future,
without drink or drugs. It’s a community
and everyone is supportive of each other
and wants to do their best to help each
other.
From the first day of coming in, I always
said failure wasn’t an option, I had
nothing to lose. And since coming into
THOMAS my relationship with my mum
has gotten so much better. Now I’m
having conversations with my mum and
my nana, which I used to avoid before
when I’d had something to drink. And I
can have a relationship with my boys, I’m
about to be a grandmother and I can be
present with the baby. I got that from
coming into THOMAS I’m so grateful.
