Christmas is fast approaching, and THOMAS has taken preparations to a new level.

THOMAS staff and volunteers worked cohesively to put up their Christmas tree, adorned by baubles, tinsel, beads and the likes. In the Drop-in canteen, there will be 2 Christmas trees, so everyone coming through those doors can witness the beauty of the season.

For many of us, Christmas is a time where it truly feels like we can have a new beginning, a time of hope and happiness; a time where we are surrounded by those we love the most. And for THOMAS especially, it is also a time for connection and to support those who desperately need it.

Among the list of activities approaching is the Christmas Jumper Day on the 18th December, where clients will be served a full Christmas dinner by staff in Santa hats and elf ears. Not to mention the beloved carol service on the 16th December, involving residents from both Salford and Blackburn. “Tis the season to be jolly”, as they say, and THOMAS warmly embraces every word.
